Design Inspiration #1

Design is the new religion

"Manifesto made for school that it's more like a personal work.I intended to do a comparison in this project, playfully saying, that Design is the New Religion in the world today.

I did this in the shape of foldout - looking like a Bible from outside - where it includes 6 "comparisons" between religion and Design, and a Poster!" - REF

MTV - Manifesto

"MTV commissioned PostPanic to create a short film to communicate MTV's new brand manifesto. The manifesto included key statements which needed to be communicated in a strong yet playful manner, capturing the spirit of MTV. By moulding them into a playful manner, the statements were able to be interpreted in an interesting tongue-in-cheek visual and narrative manner." - REF

Design Manifesto

"At the end of my fall semester senior year, we were assigned to write our own design manifesto, taking a stand on how we think about graphic design. I wanted to create something practical, almost invisible as a "designed" object. As an intern in the field, I've done my fair share of cutting matboard for client presentations, so I created a product and package that would hold inexpensive, pre-cut matboard and could be recycled (by following the instructions inside the lid) into a folder that would become a concise filing system for past presentations.
This project was an exercise is restraint, constant editing, and learning new production methods, including teaching myself how to screenprint and most efficiently construct the 13.5x19.5x2" box out of recycled chipboard. " - REF
