The idea came from bauhaus movement. They believe there are 3 main shapes in design. Square, Circle and triangle. However i believe theres only two the X and O. Reason being that the X contains vertices, cross and the O has a parallel line within. Both have been designed on a structured grid so even when they are scaled up they will maintain they shape easily. The extra X is for balance and symmetry.
I believe good design need structured, balance and inspiration. We as humans get inspired by nature, surrounding etc. So it is only right the name of the manifesto goes though the same process.
